How well does it read? Some interesting ways to edit

When you first start to write there is a terrible temptation to start correcting mistakes and reading back sentences. This completely destroys your creative flow and often leads to the famous ‘writers block’.

Editing your blog should always come after you have written your post and not during it. Indeed there is theory right brain- left brain which demonstrates that logic and creativity work in different  parts of your brain.

Can this really be a customer service business?

I have just had a customer service experience which must come from a discarded Fawlty Towers' script. In this day and age to treat customers as they  treated us defies belief.  Yet I am sure they were immune to the effect of their attitude and behaviour on our group.

LinkedIn

Does anyone else make use of LinkedIn?

I'm beginning to find it fairly useful. Something that I really enjoy is the lack of hard-sell. Of course there is a bit of it, but for the most part members follow a polite etiquette whereby you build a professional, online relationship with those who may be interested in your services at some point in time, or who may have services of interest to you. When the opportune moment arises you mention your abilities or business that they may find useful.  Members mainly share ideas, discuss and learn from other like-minded professionals.
