Christmas Crackers?

The first sign of Christmas I saw this year was way back in August, when I saw a hotel advertising Christmas parties. The trickle kept on, with more venues joining the number advertising on the local radio. I heard a rumour that a large supermarket had put out Christmas decorations by the end of August. Soon the trickle turned to a flow – every other advert on the TV was either for perfume or the greatest hits compilation CD of some semi-retired pop star.

Article Marketing: How To Choose An Article Submission Service

The majority of people I speak to about article marketing admit that it is actually the submission part of the process at which they get stuck.

It is time consuming and tedious to submit articles by hand or even with the help of software.  Not everyone can handle such a thankless task, so I recommend you consider hiring a service to handle submissions for you.

There are many companies offering article submission services, so how do you decide who to hire?

Outsourcing Made Easy? How and What is it, exactly?

In a nut shell, outsourcing is the exchange of money for time. As the business owner you would pay a virtual assistant for his/her time to help you manage your various business related tasks.

How do you know you need a Virtual Assistant?

Newsletters: how to get it right

There are a huge variety of newsletters, each with their own purposes and audiences. Their main reason is to communicate with their readers, to impart information and educate with the knowledge of the editor or contributors.

Newsletter success depends on a number of factors: good content, clear layout, consistency of subject matter and author styles, and regular publication. It’s important to have good design within a newsletter, as a poorly laid out and jumbled up newsletter will not induce the readers to read, understand and act upon it.

Woking Means Business 2009

So tomorrow is the Woking Means Business day at the HG WELLS CENTRE in Woking Town. This will be my first visit to this information and marketing day for local small businesses. I understand that there will be many complementary therapists there too, so I may decide to have a go myself next time.

Well I will let you know how it goes in the next blog,

meantime in love and light, June

People always ask me: "Leesa, how do I create meaty content for my podcast, blog or virtual event?" Here are 7 ideas to get you started.

Video Does Say It Best

Since discovering animoto.com I've been able to produce high-quality promotional videos for my clients in the developing world.

Dr. John Gilbert of the UK, recently spent 7 weeks as a volunteer doctor at Arrow Hospital in Kenya, and hence I was able to use some of the photos he sent me.

I find http://www.animoto.com is an excellent tool for promotion and the results are dynamic. I'd like to encourage others to try it out. A 30 second video is entirely free, by the way. It's a great way to recycle tips or media coverage on You Tube.
