Biography
Wordsmith extraordinaire, flamboyant writer, expert editor, perfect proofreader... Just some of the (thankfully, flattering) things I've been called of late. Just as well, really. Because you could say my job depends on comments such as these...
An NUJ-accredited, award-winning writer, editor and all-round wordmeister, I've gained 14 years' combined professional experience earning a living with words (yikes!).
My background includes journalism, marketing communications, PR, B2B, corporate writing, copywriting, creative writing, new media and print publishing, copy/sub-editing and proofreading.
Originally an equestrian manageress at the age of 18 (let's just say a while ago) in South Africa, it wasn't long before my excitement over words (don't laugh, I really am that passionate about communication) got the better of me.
So I returned to the UK and, after gaining a 1st-class honours degree, I became dedicated (some say obsessed!) to the pursuit of excellence in writing.
It wasn't long before I set up MediaMinister- a full-service outsourcing solution for busy people who need to communicate more compellingly during these information-cluttered times.

Hobbies and interests
Horse-riding, reading, travel, arts & film, photography, all things equine, chocolate, yoga (I don't do gyms!), and walking my puppy-dog by the sea. Oh, and keeping him out of mischief. It wasn't intended to be a hobby, but it might as well be!What makes me laugh?
