- Summary:Antonia Chitty is an experienced and versatile researcher and journalist. She has published articles in a range of consumer and trade titles and writes non fiction books.
Antonia’s latest books are Family Friendly Working (www.familyfriendlyworking.co.uk) and A Guide to Promoting Your Business (www.prbasics.co.uk). Special Educational Needs for Need2Know books and What to Do When Your Child Hates School for White Ladder Press are due out in Autumn 2008. She is currently working on ‘Careers in Writing’ for Hale Publishing, and a book to help parents of children with special needs look after their relationship for White Ladder Press.
Antonia is also the founder of ACPR, a public relations company offering a complete range of PR services for businesses and business startups. ACPR specialises affordable professional advice, training and information for business owners wanting to do their own PR. ACPR also promotes eco friendly baby and child products and services. Antonia Chitty went freelance after having her daughter in 2002. She says, “I looked at the skills I had and how I could apply them. A session with life coach Suzy Greaves of The Big Leap as part of an article for She magazine really helped. I’d never thought of running my own business, but Suzy opened my eyes to the fact that people would pay money for my skills.” Prior to running her own business, Antonia worked for the British Medical Association, wrote health features for Which? magazine, and promoted eye health for RNIB.
