I am an accountant in practice, with a bias toward personal tax and practical advice for small business. My clients are mostly soletraders, 1-4 director Ltd companies, some have been with me for over 20 years, as I started when I was very young. 
As an option, I have available for clients, a secure internet based Book-keeping/Accounting package which may be access via my website. Clients also have access to me on Skype as I think its important to be appoachable.
Until 2007, new clients would only be accepted via referals, becuase I used to do quite a lot of "full-time" Finance director or Financial Controller work. I did not have time to accept new clients from other methods. But despite this the practice grew so I had to stop doing any full-time work in 2008 as otherwise I could not give my exisiting clients, the quality of service I wanted and have a "life" outside work!
I am now looking to expand the practice again, by accepting new clients using other methods.
