Biography
- Summary:Born into an electrical contracting background. My Father was self employed and I grew up within an enviroment, whereby the working day was somewhat disjointed/disorganised. Holidays were a luxury and often last minute, when no work presented itself! Originally trained as a lighting engineer for GEC and was one of the first members of the ILE (Institution of Lighting Engineers). Loved being the only woman in a mans world and embarked in a career within this industry. However, computers ended this career and I diversified into electrical safety testing. The introduction of the Electricity at Work Regulations in 1989 sealed my fate and I have become an expert in PAT testing and Fixed wiring inspection and testing. Having worked for the largest manufacturers and electrical contractors offering these services I have a wealth of experience and knowledge to offer my Clients, with the focus on delivering a specific and affordable solution.
