Attraction Marketing is an approach to marketing your services that takes into account not only the practical actions that you take, but the mindset from which you take them.
There is a huge range of marketing activities that you can use to bring your services to the attention of your ideal clients. You’ll find information about them throughout this site. From an Attraction Marketing perspective, the most important factor in choosing which to do is how well suited you are to undertaking them, and how much you enjoy doing them.
If you’d rather eat worms than stand up and give a talk, don’t do it. If writing is hard for you, employ someone to do it. Taking away the pressure on ourselves to do what everyone else is doing allows us to be creative about what really suits us – and often doing something different that is natural to us makes us very visible to our audience.
When we are involved in doing something that we love to do, we are being “attractive”, drawing to ourselves opportunities and contacts. This is due to the operation of the Laws of Attraction, which state that we attract all events, people and circumstances into our lives through our thoughts, and through the feelings we experience as a result of those thoughts. By consciously directing your thoughts, feelings and attitude towards the results that you wish to happen, and then taking action steps towards the outcomes you desire, that will be what you manifest.
To put it simply, “What you focus on is what you get”. If your focus is on being successful, and you take actions towards that success believing that it is possible, then it will be so. If however you harbour doubts about your abilities to achieve what you say you desire, then you will be unlikely to achieve the same level of success.
• Create a clear written of how you want your successful business to be in 1, 3 or 5 year’s time.
• Spend time imagining living that success.
• Spend time getting very clear on who your ideal clients are, and imagine working with them.
• Be aware of any doubts and fears that arise, and get help to shift them.
• Only do those marketing activities that you love to do.
• You don’t have to do all the marketing activities there are.
• Don’t feel you have to do what everyone else is doing with their marketing, do what suits you.
