B2B stands for ‘Business to Consumer’ and is usually used in the context of the sale of a product or service for personal consumption. The buyer may be an individual, family or other group of collective individuals, buying to use the product or service for themselves, or for use by another end consumer.
When considering Business to Consumer marketing or selling it is important to understand the decision making process the individual will go through in making the purchase.
The higher the risk and/or financial commitment the more involvement the end consumer will put into researching and thinking about the buying decision. They may need multiple messages from your business and several appointments or visits (could be to your website) before a decision is reached.
Just think, we can all make a decision to buy a can of soft drink much quicker and easier, than buying a house or a new car!
